Mrs. Ihmels has worked as a fashion designer for the industries.  Her designs have been published on the front page of the "Berliner Zeitung", and magazines including "Fuer Sie", "Frau" and "Textil Report".  She is the recipient of several gold medals for excellent design sponsored by the trade magazine "Textil Report", Germany.
